EFFICIENT DRYING PATTERNS

The best pattern is often driven by court layout, existence of fences and drainage grade of the court and position of drains if available. Generally speaking, it is best to dry 2 or 3 'rectangular rings' around the outside edge of the entire court, then dry straight line passes from side to side across the court starting on the high graded side of the court moving toward the low graded side. Use patterns that allow emptying the Extractor when full based on the amount of water on the court, which varies with every situation. Again, through experience and “feel” you will understand how much water is on a court, and how fast the Extractor fills up during use, and how to pattern based on the amount of water on the court. Experiment with different patterns and figure out what works best for you. Multiple VAPTR ROLLRs on the same court makes quick work of the massive task at hand after it stops raining. If you’re spilling water out of the Extractor when turning, the tank is full and it’s time to empty it. A blower is very helpful to dry the last 5% of moisture on the court, and to push water out of the net, and out from under the net BEFORE using the VAPTR ROLLR on the court. If you have access to a backpack or other blower, blow out the net, beneath the net, and around the posts first, then use the VAPTR ROLLR to pick up all that water. Using this strategy you will have your courts playable in no time!
